In the rise of Wiki's, made popular and well-known by none other than Wikipedia, there have been many successful, educational wikis, which are user-edited collections of information. My interest in this particular project stems from a) the rise of the term "Douche Bag" that generally is used to insult anyone the way "jerk" or "jack ass" used to be used in the past and b) the centralist based double standards that this term carries with its usage, such as when one person dubbs another person as this term for a certain act, and then they themselves turn around and perform the act themselves. Douchpedia.org is an attempt to bring a consensus, collective, and consciousness to this term, to define "Douche-baggery", and to bring awareness to end-users of the influences of their behavior on others.
