The History Lesson
The History Lesson
This piece dives into abstract folklore and pulls this imaginary scene of fae, gathering at night around an elder. Her varied audience ranges from attentive students to carefree whisps, and extends into the fauna behind her. She pauses for a moment, in her seat of attention, to fully absorb the events around her, as her story has come so much to life, that the very characters of her mind have joined her to listen! In an imaginary scene such as this, its easy to imagine as real what might be the only imaginary aspect in real life. Telling stories of history or past can sometimes make us feel as though history really does come back to listen. If this were a human scene, would it be plausible to understand the characters in the fauna as truly there?
